Renovation for the SFCU in LaGrange

In 2010 we started the renovation of the "Wig Villa" located on Bull St. in downtown LaGrange, Ga. After the first site visit, I knew I had a challenge on my hands! The building was located on the corner of a one way street and a promenade for pedestrians to walk between buildings. The first challenge was to present the concept to the Historical Society and assure them that we would keep, if not enhance, the historical details of the building. The second challenge was coming up with a design that had 2 entry points, an ATM and the security needed for a credit union.  Once these challenges were overcome, the details and design fell into place. By far one of my most challenging projects but my favorite to this day! Such a transformation, and to think that people still stop by to ask if they sell wigs!
